While decorating for a wedding reception, it is so easy to overlook one or two details, like wedding favors and even your
your bridal jewelry. To ensure that these items will not be missed, it is better if they are placed on a list or assigned to someone specifically.
It is not difficult to find wedding favors. They can be bought either in a wedding shop or ordered online. And even if they are bought, adding a few touches can make a difference to make it personalized. And if you need to make a lot of them at the very last minute, there is more than one way to make them.
Jordan almonds have been used in the Roman times as a wedding favor and continue to adorn many weddings today. Three pieces of Jordan almonds can be placed in round shape tulle wrapping them to make them look like a badminton. With a wired rose or any flower of choice, wrap around the tulle to hold it together. Ribbons with the name of the groom and bride as well as the date can also we added to make it personal. The ribbons can also match the same color as the bride's maids.
Another way to make a quick and easy wedding favor is to buy boxes or bags of little champagne glasses and fill them candy. Small and white champagne glasses look well especially if adorned with small pieces of flower. Simply fill the glass with candies and cover them with tulle. Ribbon or wired flowers or dove holds the tulle. Wedding favors with candies, though, should be made at least a day before or on the wedding day. For clear glasses, tulle can be wrapped at the base of the glass and can be given away as is or candies can also be placed inside it. Small colored bags and baskets can save the day if more wedding favors are needed. Candies can be placed in bags and these can be placed in baskets. Bags cost around 25 cents apiece and baskets run around 69 cents. They can be brought at the wedding reception. Just make sure they are in tow as well as candies, extra ribbons and small scented papers. Bring a pen, too, so they can be personalized.
The simplest wedding favor of all is simply to buy small sweetheart boxes that are adorned with lace and bow. They can be bought at $2.50 per six, and candies can be placed inside. Unadorned sweetheart boxes can also be bought at a dollar per six but will have to be decorated still.
There are lots of ways to make inexpensive wedding favors at the last minute. Bringing a few extras will not hurt either to make sure that your guests leave with something to remind them of your special day.
