Veils for Brides by Glenn S. Ferguson
Veils for brides are making a come back and adding not only a romance appeal to your bridal look but a touch of elegance and style to your wedding.
And this is why you should take another look at veils for brides.
Today's veils for brides are providing brides with endless possibilities of style and designs, all geared towards adding that finishing touch to any any bride no matter how modern or traditionally she maybe want to be.
However, in order to get the right look for your wedding day there are some things you should know about wedding veils.
Firstly, there are four different lengths of bridal veils and the length you choose is important as it should not only accentuate but be proportionate to your wedding dress.
1. The Blusher - which can be used for both formal and semi formal weddings is a shoulder length veil that covers the face and should never be longer than thirty four inches. You want to be careful when choosing this veil that it will not cover any details on the back of your wedding dress.
2. Elbow Length - which can also be used for both formal or semi formal weddings is usually worn with shorter wedding gowns to accentuate the waist of the gown, ending below a low back and above the start of the skirt. You don't want to choose this veil if you don't want to accentuate your waistline.
3. Finger Length - and as the name suggest it falls right at the brides fingertips when her hand are relaxed at her sides and is best worn with a wedding gown that is longer than tea length. And it is also not recommended for brides shorter than 5'4".
4. Cathedral Length - which is the longest of the bridal veils and should only be worn for a formal wedding with a cathedral length dress.
Secondly, wedding veils comes different color shades and while a white veil goes well with the traditional wedding gown, you will find that a diamond white or Candlelight veils goes better with natural silk gowns and Ivory goes beautifully with an ivory bridal gown.
Thirdly, you also have your choice of edging and trimming for your wedding veils. So you can really add your personality and style to achieve the bridal look that is truly representative of you.
Finally, you want to make sure that your bridal veil is attached to a tiara and that you can easily remove it, so you may want one with a snap or velcro. And it is also recommended that you use a two -tiered veil as they tend to be fuller and enhances your face.
And here are some veils for brides that will complete and transform you into the bride you want the world to see on your wedding day.

Frequently Asked Questions...
How do I attach a veil to a tiara?
I am making my Sister's wedding veil for her & I am not sure how to attach the veil to the tiara. She is going to wear her hair up & also have some curls hanging down. So the tiara fits really good. She has a 2 tier veil.
Answer:
Try small clear combs attached to the veil. She needs to take both with her when she has her hair done, and the stylist should be able to attach both. If doing her own hair, place the combs on the veil in her hair in the area where the tiara will cover it. It may take a couple of dry runs to get it right. GOOD LUCK!
