The Funny Feel Of Her Dog Portraits
For this artist a dog is the gate keeper of the land between life and death. In an effort to learn more about what shadow dogs are, this artist did research using black and white paintings and those monotypes located at the restaurant near her place. The country now has seen much of this artist who also has a fine arts degree from a university in New Mexico. She has also received awards for the work she has done with fabrics, photography and printmaking.

She managed to study non rational states of consciousness as well. There are definite links to certain shamanistic beliefs in my work especially that of the ability of a human and an animal to collaborate by combining forms, she said. Civilization will continue to exist one if we revert back to the old ways of survival this artist says. Cooperation with other life forms has now become a basic need according to this artist.
In the monoprints of dogs she has created a work of collaboration. She is busy capturing shots for local news while working at a local humane society. She even adopted four stray dogs into her home.
